EULARINET Workshop on Bioeconomy: 2nd ALCUE SOM Consultation (WP3)

The objective of Workshop is to develop a pilot activity in the area of bioeconomy related to key global societal challenges in order to exchange information, views and recommendations for the implementation of the bi-regional ALCUE Joint Initiative for Research and Innovation (JIRI). To this purpose the Working Group will identify existing policies, potential common objectives and priority areas for cooperation; and implementation instruments – including funding options – for joint efforts in RTI activities in Bioeconomy.

EULARINET Workshop on Renewable Energies (WP3)

The EULARINET Workshop on Renewable Energies, coordinated by CONACYT Mexico and MICINN Spain, is part of a pilot initiative to support the implementation of the EU-LAC Joint Initiative for Research and Innovation (JIRI). It is being arranged in the framework of EULARINET´s activities to deepen the bi-regional dialogue on research policy between the European Union and Latina America and the Caribbean. The workshop will be focused in solar energy - both photovoltaic and thermal- and bioenergy.

Workshop on Biodiversity and Climate Change (WP3)

Following the conclusions of the Brussels Seniro Officials Meeting (SOM) on supporting biregional dialogue throughout the organization of four thematic bi-regional workshops, COLCIENCIAS-Colombia and MICINN-Spain will be in charge of organising the workshop on Biodiversity and Climate Change to be held in Manizales the 15 and 16 of September, 2011.

EU-LAC Workshop and Political Dialogue on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) (WP3)
