The objective of the Working Group is to develop a pilot activity in the area of bioeconomy related to key global societal challenges in order to exchange information, views and recommendations for the implementation of the bi-regional ALCUE Joint Initiative for Research and Innovation (JIRI). To this purpose the WGs will identify existing policies, potential common objectives and priority areas for cooperation; and implementation instruments – including funding options – for joint efforts in RTI activities in each of the different areas identified by the Senior Officials Meeting - SOM as matters of pilot activities.
