Mapping and recommendations for the regional policy dialogue platform
This report on the mapping of European and Latin American science and technology cooperation
scheme patterns focuses on the bilateral S&T agreements between both regions. The information
was collected on the basis of a questionnaire sent to the 19 Latin American S&T funding agencies. |

Evaluation of NCP structures in Latin America
A survey among existing NCPs in Latin America has been undertaken Feb 2009-June 2010. On the basis of the answers of 11 countries (including one country without official NCP, Panama) an evaluation of the situation structures and needs of Latin American NCPs was elaborated. |

Enhancing research-industry alliances, innovation and technology transfer EU-LA
This document aims to identify the issues of innovation and technology transfer that characterize the cooperation between science and industry in EU and LA, and will be a starting point to orientate a dialogue between experts in the two regions.The study discusses trends and challenges within science-industry relationships in Latin American and Europe and the possibilities to enhance the collaboration between the two regions in this field. The report is not intended to provide an exhaustive analysis, but focuses on the key issues that characterize science-industry relationships between the two regions and the main obstacles which have to be overcome to improve this cooperation.

Science-industry bi-regional dialogue
The Virtual Forum http://eularinet-forum.eu/ was held between the 8th September and 16th October 2009 in the context of the EULARINET Project. The forum included the participation of 13 experts for the European Union and three sub regions of Latin America: Mercosur, Andean countries and Central America and Mexico. The experts taking part come from the academic, business and government sectors and were chosen according to the focal points and partners in the EULARINET project implied in WP4

Integrated report on research needs, priority setting, and policy orientations for Latin America, based on annual platform dialogue meetings
The Document is the result of a collective work which has involved experts from European and Latin American countries. The main objective of this work has been to agree on proposals that would define a new approach to cooperation, based on the analysis of the current situation and the various interests of the different countries, especially from Latin America.

Report on indicators of ST&I bi-regional activities
The present report, Science and Technology Indicators for EULARINET project, was issued by the Instituto de Estudios Documentales de la Ciencia y la Tecnología (IEDCyT) of the Spanish Research Council (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC) in February 2009. IRD worked with IEDCYT on an agreed methodology to deliver a first set of indicators assessing the intensity of science and technology cooperation between Latin-American countries and EU countries plus Norway.

Final report of the Environment Workshop
The Latin American-European Environment Workshop was carried out in the framework of EULARINET, the European Latin American Innovation Networks, on November 17 -20, 2009. The workshop was organized by COLCIENCIAS, CONICYT and DLR within WP 2.2 and hosted by COLCIENCIAS in Bogotá, Colombia. The two and a half day workshop was attended by 43 participants from 20 different Latin American and European countries.
